The morphometric, meristic measurement and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were performed on serum esterase, haemoglobins and transferrins in red tilapia, the interspecific cross between [(Red ♀ × S. hornorum ♂) sex reversed black ♀ × Red ♂) and red color tilapia and the brown color phenotypic female by sex reversed from (Red ♀ × S. hornorum ♂) to get the basic information of the varance of purebred and hybrids.
